About the Volunteer Managers Network
The Leeds Volunteer Managers Network meets quarterly to share ideas, strengthen good practice and create new networks.
The network are always looking for people to support volunteers to join our steering group. The steering group help to shape priorities and action plans for the wider network. Get in touch with us at Andrina.Dawson@val.org.uk to chat about being part of this leadership group.

Resources for Volunteer Managers Toolkits, Guides and Top Tips
Network members with support from the Volunteer Centre Leeds team create and share a range of useful guides and resources to shape best practice in the city.
One of the key resources we have is the Volunteer Handbook which many organisations have adopted for use in their volunteer induction. It’s freely available to download along with many more toolkits and resources you can use.

The Leeds Volunteering Quality Mark
Members also collaborated with Volunteer Centre Leeds team on the Leeds Volunteering Quality Mark – an accreditation for organisations who manage volunteers to show that they are outstanding in their field. It gives credit to organisations that run high quality volunteer programmes and give their volunteers a great experience.
The Volunteer Manager’s Network steering group is also responsible for issuing The Leeds Volunteering Quality Mark, a certificate awarded to organisations that show that their volunteering programmes follow the principles that have been agreed as good practice in the Compact for Leeds.

This set of videos can be used during the induction process for your volunteers. There are four induction videos which cover:
