The team also offers advice and support to organisations and small groups to help them set up and manage a volunteering programme, and to recruit suitable volunteers.

Our Location
The Volunteer Centre is based in Leeds City Centre in the food court area of Leeds Kirkgate Market.
We are open Monday to Friday 10 am – 4 pm. Please feel free to drop in or book an appointment by emailing volunteering@val.org.uk, or over the phone by calling us on: 0113 244 6050 or by text on 07340323190.
If you or someone you support would like help to find a suitable volunteering opportunity please do contact us. If filling in forms is difficult, English is not a first language, or you just don’t know where to start – we can help.
We also support groups and organisations who would like to host volunteers but are not sure about the process and how to go about it – make an appointment and our team of volunteers can guide you. If you’re an organisation who would like a boost to your volunteer recruitment please send us any posters/flyers you have for your roles and get in touch about arranging a Volunteer Centre Takeover. This is a free opportunity to take over the space in front of the Volunteer Centre in Kirkgate Market to reach new people and promote your volunteering roles.
