24 April | Health and Care Leaders Network Meeting

Join us for our spring meeting of the Third Sector Health and Care Leaders Network.

Date: 24 April 2025
Time: 10 AM to 12 PM
Location: BattleScars, Onward House, Millshaw Park Way, Leeds, LS11 0LS

This event unites professionals from across the health and care sector for a morning of insightful discussions, knowledge exchange, peer support and collaboration.

We hope you can join us, in person, for what is always an uplifting and worthwhile session.

Theme: Neighbourhood Health

We’ll be looking collectively at what the national Neighbourhood Health agenda means for the future of the third sector, and what our contribution or new ways of working could be. As well as how this work is delivered in partnership, for example with GPs and Local Care Partnerships, to truly support our communities.

Special Guest

We are pleased to welcome as guest speaker Jim Barwick – CEO of Leeds GP Confederation.

Networking and Discussion

As always, there will be time for break out group discussions, and networking. We know how important it is to talk to each other, make connections and find opportunities for collaboration or peer support.

Arrivals are welcome from 9.30am for informal networking and refreshments, for a prompt 10am start. Discussions generally take place over the second hour.

Further details

Light refreshments will be provided.

There is step free access to the meeting room.

The location has free parking and is easily accessed by bus and train (the new train station at the White Rose shopping centre).

If you have any other accessibility requirements please let us know so we can make sure you feel comfortable and can participate.

About the quarterly meeting

This is a forward looking space which focuses on strategic thinking and developments across the health and care system through a third sector lens. The format is usually short presentations by guest speakers, followed by group discussion, with plenty of time for networking.

Who can attend?

All Forum Central member organisations are welcome to join the network meeting. Non-third sector health and care system partners are welcome by invitation only.

This meeting is aimed at third sector organisation leaders and those in strategic positions – we use the term leader in its broadest sense to include established, developing and aspiring leaders.
