As part of the Northern Man Festival happening 6 – 15 June, Dadstastic Day, organised by Leeds Dad’s is the biggest FREE Father’s Day celebration in England.– a lively, hands-on event for families with children aged 0–11. Expect a fun-packed day of creative activities, performances, and games.

Choose from three entry sessions:

• 11:00–12:30
• 12:30–14:00
• 14:00–15:30
• Outdoor All Day Ticket (All Indoor tickets allow access to outdoor activities, all day)

Brodrick Room – Drop-in activities (Just turn up during your chose session):

• Zulu King Monk – Upcycle vinyl into stunning record art
• IzWiz Robotics – Program and battle robots!
• Scraptastic – Get creative with recycled materials
• Valentina’s Carnival Arts – Make colourful carnival headpieces
• StopMotion Station – Bring your own plasticine models to life
• Positive Birth Leeds – Fill a memory jar with keepsakes & reflections
• Techy Tots – Try coding games and robot challenges
• Leeds Dads Facepainting Team – Fun, colourful face designs
• Heart to Art / Northern Man Festival – Design your own “Dad Sculpture”
• Freda Shafi – Express your emotions through art
• Cloth Cat / Lee Shaw – Build and decorate your own cardboard guitar

Thoresby Room – RJC Dance Family Workshops (Aimed at ages 4-11 years)

Booking required on the day at the upstairs desk. Fun, high-energy carnival dance sessions for families.

Denny Room – MC Testament Family Beatbox Workshops (Aimed at ages 2-11 years)

Booking required on the day at the upstairs desk. Learn beatboxing and rhythm in fun, high-energy family sessions.

Millennium Square – Outdoor fun (11 am – 4 pm)

• Leeds Children’s Theatre – Pop Up fairy tale characters
• Mr Bubbles – Make giant bubbles float over Leeds Civic Hall
• Maynard Flip Flap – Madcap street comedy for all ages
• Uncle Leroy & Aunty Di Di – Live children’s sing-along music

Outdoor Finale Extravaganza in Millennium Square (3:30 pm –4 pm) 

Led by Swirl Education – join us for a musical, dance-filled send-off with tambourines, ribbons, and singalong fun!
