Closing Soon | International Day of Disabled People 2025 Grants
Leeds For All and partners are pleased to announce that grant applications for the International Day of Disabled People 2025, will open on Friday 29 August this year.
The 2025 theme for International Day of Disabled People (IDODP) is:
Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future.
Grants will be awarded to organisations wanting to undertake activity around this theme but also to:
- Celebrate the contributions of disabled people to society and the City of Leeds
- Highlight the barriers disabled people still face in fully participating in society
The total grant fund pot is £2,400 and we expect to award either six grants of up to £400 each, four grants of up to £600 each, or a mix of both. The maximum grant available is £600 per organisation.
Who can apply for a grant?
To apply for this grant, you should be a Constituted Group. Typically, we would expect that you would have the following:
- A management committee which includes a chairperson, a secretary and a treasurer.
- A written constitution document that states your group’s name, aims and how you will operate and what will be done with assets if the group finishes (a written constitution is an essential requirement)
- A bank account in the name of your organisation
- A set of accounts
If you are unsure whether your organisation qualifies as a constituted group, or your group does not have all of the above, please contact us to discuss this further as it may be possible for
you to make alternative arrangements to apply for a grant.
