Leeds BID is hosting the Leeds International Festival of Ideas (LIFI25) from Tuesday 14 to Saturday 18 October 2025 at Leeds Playhouse—a vibrant, accessible, and inclusive festival that brings together leading thinkers, creatives, and changemakers to explore ideas that matter.

Among the inspiring line‑up of panels,—including speakers such as David Baddiel, Chuck D, Victoria Derbyshire, Myleene Klass MBE, Caitlin Moran, Sally Wainwright OBE, William Hanson, Fara Williams MBE, and many more—one event stands out for its warmth, heart, and community focus.

A live performance by Our Dementia Choir, uplifted and framed by real human stories
Leeds Playhouse is a dementia‑friendly venue, with staff and volunteers trained to support attendees living with dementia and their companions.
This event isn’t just performance—it’s a testament to how art and conversation can foster connection, wellbeing, and dignity. It’s an ideal opportunity for anyone working with older adults, supporting people with dementia, or simply passionate about inclusive culture and wellbeing through the arts.
