About the training

This online session is aimed at people delivering Welcome Spaces but is open to anyone who might be working or volunteering in front line services.

The session will provide information to help you signpost to mental health support and connect people to other local groups and services which support people with loneliness. The training will focus on:

• MindWell – the mental health website for adults in Leeds. How to navigate and use the website with a demo of the sections and what you can find there, including; self-help resources, crisis signposting information, directory of services and local wellbeing groups, and guidance for professionals.

• Leeds Directory – supporting Leeds Residents to live well by connecting them to checked and vetted local services and tradespeople and as well as local activities and events. Overview of the Leeds Directory website, including how to locate activities using postcodes and other routes to support.

Details of how and where to access printed resources from the Public Health Resource Centre will also be provided.
