10 October | AutistiCon 2025: Save the date!
Date: 10 October 2025
Time: 9.30 am – 4 pm
Location: Nexus, Discovery Way, Woodhouse, Leeds, LS2 3AA
What is AutistiCon?
AutistiCon is a free to attend annual conference and information event for autistic and neurodivergent people and anyone with an interest in neurodiversity.
It is a drop-in event, meaning that people can spend as much time there as they want, and you don’t need a ticket. Some people stay all day, while others just pop in for a quick visit.
The aim of AutistiCon is to:
- Provide a safe, welcoming and accessible space where people can connect with other members of the neurodivergent community
- Educate people on autism and neurodiversity by providing a platform for autistic people, families / carers and autism professionals to share their lived experience
- Share information so that autistic people and their families know where they can go for help and support in Leeds
- Showcase the talents of autistic artists and performers from across our region
We will be releasing more information soon, so please keep your eye on this page, sign up for our spam free mailing list, give us a follow on social media, or check out the official AutistiCon website.
Volunteers, stall holders, guest speakers and performers wanted!
We are looking for people who want to take part in AutistiCon 2025, so please register your interest if you’d like to get involved.
If you would like to take part, register your interest on the AutistiCon website.
Volunteers
We are looking for a number of volunteers to help out with things like photographing the event, helping people to find their way round and technical support.
Anyone can apply, but we are particularly interested in hearing from autistic / neurodivergent volunteers.
You can find out more by visiting our volunteering page.
Information Stall Holders
Do you have a service that can provide support for autistic people or families?
Maybe you have an inclusive event or project that you would like to promote?
Perhaps you are an autistic person with a business who would like to promote their work?
If you think you or your organisation fits the bill, then AutistiCon is the place for you!
Information stalls are free, although we do suggest a donation of £25 to help us cover our costs. If you would be happy to donate, payment will be taken on the day.
Places are limited, so book quickly!
Guest Speakers
We are looking for guest speakers to help amplify the voices of the autistic community.
If you are a person who would like to share their lived experience, or a person with specialist knowledge of autism, we would love to hear from you.
We have five guest speaker slots to fill on the day and would like people to speak for approximately15-20 minutes per slot.
Performers
We are keen to showcase local autistic talent, so if you sing, dance, read poetry, have a stand-up routine, or perform dramatic scenes, then AutistiCon could be your time to shine!
Performances take place in the theatre space, and performances should last around 5 minutes.
