Manthology: A collection of poems from men in Leeds

Men’s Health Unlocked are opening submissions for poetry for their online ‘book’ : Manthology.

They welcome a wide range of poems from anyone who identifies as male and has a connection to Leeds and are looking to showcase a wide range of emotions and creative flare by encompassing a variety of subject matter and themes.

There will be workshops in the coming months to help people create poems with guidance and creative support. Keep an eye on the Men’s Health Unlocked section of the website and sign up to their newsletter to stay informed: https://forumcentral.wordifysites.com/mhu/

The online ‘book’ will feature a large collection of poems and will also go to print in a limited capacity. Collections will be launched in November 2025 for International Men’s Day.

Poems can be electronic, written or spoken and they will do their best to capture these on paper. As well as poems in English, poems in other languages are welcome. Writers must be over 18 years old.

There isn’t a current word limit for poems but longer poems may need to be shortened in latter stages of printing/collating. They ask that only one poem per person is given.
