Photos wanted: Ageing Well Leeds Archive and 2026 Calendar

Support Age Without Limits Day on Wednesday 11 June 2025 by sharing a photo of positive ageing.

The All Age Activists Intergenerational group are thrilled to share that photo submissions are now OPEN for the Ageing Well Leeds Archive and Calendar to celebrate Age Without Limits Day on Wednesday 11 of June. Submission deadline Tuesday 27 May 2025.

What photos do we want?

We want Leeds-based photos celebrating positive ageing and older people in the following categories:

  • Home
  • Intergenerational
  • Faith
  • Movement
  • Connections
  • Celebrations
  • Community
  • Accessibility
  • Occupation
  • Emotion
  • Conversation
  • Recreation

This could be an image that represents a group, or organisation and be up to a year old. It could be something specific for this project. We want everyone to get involved from photography groups, students, professional photographers, amatuer enthusiasts and people who have never picked up a camera! Images can be taken on camera phones as well as cameras as we want to ensure the project is accessible.

How to submit photos

Highlight which category your image is and ensure you have relevant permissions, consent and ownership and leave contact details. You can submit multiple entries under multiple categories. We are not accepting colleges or AI images.

Deadline for submissions: Tuesday 27 May

Selected photos will receive a free calendar and feature in a special exhibition and celebration event for Age Without Limits Day on Wednesday 11 June at Leeds City Museum.

All images that meet criteria will be preserved in the Ageing Well Leeds Archive and may be used to promote Age Friendly Leeds.
