International Day of Older People (IDOP) 2025: Grants now open!

Applications for this fund have now closed.

This year’s IDOP will be celebrated in Leeds from 1 to 7 October 2025, under the theme ‘The Part We Play – Celebrating the Integral Role of Older People in Our Communities.‘

Leeds Older People’s Forum would like to invite local groups, organisations, and partnerships to apply for funding to support events and activities that recognise and celebrate the contributions of older people in Leeds.

Grant Opportunities

You can apply for one of the following types of grants:

• Partnership Grants (up to £750)
  For collaborative events that serve wider areas of the city (West, East, North, or South Leeds).
• Smaller Community Grants (up to £250)
  For local groups running community-based activities or events.

Please note: Priority will be given to partnership grants, and remaining funds will be distributed as smaller grants. Funding is limited, and we usually receive more applications than we can support
