19 and 20 July | Leeds Pride Weekend

Angels of Freedom will be hosting a Community marketplace and a Village Fete event on the weekend of 19 and 20 July for Leeds Pride.

Saturday 19 July: Community Marketplace

Applications are now open for organisations to apply for a place.

Application:

  • If you’re a grassroots community group the stall is free of charge – once you’ve submitted this form your booking will be confirmed as soon as you email Public Liability Insurance documents to events@angelsoffreedom.org.uk
  • If you’re a charity organisation we ask for a £15 contribution towards event costs (get in touch if this is a barrier) – once you’ve submitted this form and made payment your booking will be confirmed as soon as you email Public Liability Insurance documents to events@angelsoffreedom.org.uk
  • If you’re a trader (non-food) who has attended a previous Angels of Freedom event then your booking is confirmed subject to:
    • Submitting this form: Application Form | Angels of Freedom Event
    • Emailing Public Liability Insurance documents to events@angelsoffreedom.org.uk
    • Paying the £30 (non-refundable) deposit.
    • You don’t need to wait for further confirmation.
  • If you’re a trader who has NOT attended an Angels of Freedom event before OR a food vendor please submit this form and await confirmation to proceed.
Sunday 20 July: Leeds Pride Village Fete
The Leeds Pride Village Fete will offer a calmer, family friendly alternative to the main Leeds Pride celebrations. Taking place in Dortmund Square and nearby Age UK Leeds building, the event will host:
  • Stalls
  • Games
  • Activities
  • And a pay-as-you-feel cafe

The Village Fete will provide a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ individuals, allies and families to connect, relax and celebrate diversity. The event will promote mental wellbeing, community building and awareness of LGBTQ+ issues in a supportive and accessible environment.
