The year of 2025 marks the 10-year anniversary of the UK Parliament’s e-petitioning system. Throughout the summer and autumn of 2025, a series of events and activities will take place in Westminster, sparking new ideas for developments over the next 10 years. This event in Leeds forms part of this anniversary celebration of the UK Parliament’s e-petitioning system.

TSL (Third Sector Leeds) have helped to develop this event to help more people understand the impact that grassroots groups can have on central government through petitioning.

A local third sector organisation will be speaking about the impact that their petitioning has made, and the UK Parliament petitions committee team will also be there.

Please come along if you’re interested in understanding more about how you can influence parliamentary decisions.

Aims of the day:

  • Attract third sector leaders representing seldom-heard communities, who are in a good place to progress this project.
  • Strengthen understanding of the UK Parliament and Government e-petitions system.
