Leeds Learning Disability Week 16 – 22 June 2025

There is once again a fantastic line up of events taking place to celebrate Learning Disability Week in Leeds.

For a full rundown of events take a look at the Through the Maze website.  All events are aimed at people with learning disabilities and most are FREE. Events are being hosted by several of our member organisations and the Being Social steering group which Forum Central is proud to be a part of.

Events round up

Monday 16 June:
5-a-side football tournament by Aspire.
The Great Summer Chat with Connect In The North.

Tuesday 17 June:
The Leeds Learning Disability People’s Parliament takes over the City Council Chambers, followed by a Learning Disability Pride march.
The Big ‘Swinsty’ Sunflower Walk
Sky Fallers’ 10th-anniversary gig.

Wednesday 18 June:
Enjoy The Big ‘Middleton’ Sunflower Walk.

Thursday 19 to Saturday 21:
Don’t miss the Making A Splash exhibition at Bramley Baths.

Thursday 19 June:
Head to Kirkgate Market for the Being Social marketplace.
Wear fancy dress for the Popworld club night.

Friday 20 June:
Pack a picnic for Temple Newsam!
