10 Year Health Plan: The Findings So Far
Over the past few months, organisations and individuals across West Yorkshire have been sharing their views on the NHS 10-Year Plan.
West Yorkshire Voice has now published a summary of the initial findings, which give a real insight into what people think about these changes.
Feedback was asked for in three key areas:
- Hospitals to communities
- Analogue to digital
- Treatment to prevention
These findings will shape how the 10-Year Plan is developed and delivered here in West Yorkshire. They show a desire for change, but also highlight the practical realities, from digital exclusion and workforce pressures, to making sure the most marginalised voices are heard.
You can read the summaries and a more in depth analysis of the findings on their website: https://www.wypartnership.co.uk/get-involved/change-nhs/what-weve-found-out
At Forum Central, we see the importance of the voluntary and community sector in turning these ambitions into real change. Community organisations bring local knowledge, trust and relationships that are vital if the Plan is going to reduce inequalities and improve health for everyone.
