Grants of up to £50,000 available over three years
The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust is offering grants to support organisations whose work aligns with its key themes.
Priorities
Funding is aimed at organisations working to:

Enable participation in the arts
-
Prevent or reduce the impact of poverty
-
Support marginalised groups and tackle inequality
-
Improve mental health (with a focus on specific mental health issues, rather than general wellbeing)
Who can apply?
The following organisation types are eligible:
-
Registered charities
-
Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs)
-
Community Interest Companies (CICs) with an asset lock (Schedule 1 and 2 only)

Community Benefit Societies
Applicants must:
-
Be based and working in the North of England
-
Have an income between £10,000 and £1 million in the most recent financial year (priority may be given to those with under £250,000)

Have been operating for at least 12 months with signed accounts
-
Hold a governing document and a bank account in the organisation’s name with two unrelated signatories
-
Have no more than 50% of trustees/directors related
-
Have all relevant policies in place at the time of application
Priority may be given to organisations that:
-
Have an income under £250,000
-
Work in communities in the top 15% of the Index of Multiple Deprivation
-
Focus their main activities on supporting marginalised groups (e.g. disabled people, communities experiencing racial inequity, LGBT+ people)
-
Are in areas that have not recently received funding
Grant size

Up to £50,000 across a three-year period
