Grants of up to £50,000 available over three years

The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust is offering grants to support organisations whose work aligns with its key themes.

Priorities

Funding is aimed at organisations working to:

  • Enable participation in the arts

  • Prevent or reduce the impact of poverty

  • Support marginalised groups and tackle inequality

  • Improve mental health (with a focus on specific mental health issues, rather than general wellbeing)

Who can apply?

The following organisation types are eligible:

  • Registered charities

  • Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs)

  • Community Interest Companies (CICs) with an asset lock (Schedule 1 and 2 only)

  • Community Benefit Societies

Applicants must:

  • Be based and working in the North of England

  • Have an income between £10,000 and £1 million in the most recent financial year (priority may be given to those with under £250,000)

  • Have been operating for at least 12 months with signed accounts

  • Hold a governing document and a bank account in the organisation’s name with two unrelated signatories

  • Have no more than 50% of trustees/directors related

  • Have all relevant policies in place at the time of application

Priority may be given to organisations that:

  • Have an income under £250,000

  • Work in communities in the top 15% of the Index of Multiple Deprivation

  • Focus their main activities on supporting marginalised groups (e.g. disabled people, communities experiencing racial inequity, LGBT+ people)

  • Are in areas that have not recently received funding

Grant size

  • Up to £50,000 across a three-year period

Key dates

  • Round 3 opens: 9am, 25 September 2025

  • Closes: 12 noon, 6 October 2025
