About People in Action
People in Action is a Leeds-based charity working to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities, autistic people, and their families through inclusive services, activities, and support.
About the training
People in Action’s Healthy Lifestyles Team is offering a free, half-day course designed to support staff working with adults who have learning disabilities and/or are autistic.
This session will explore:
-
How to encourage and support people to eat a healthy diet
-
Ways to promote physical activity and weight management
-
How to approach conversations around emotional wellbeing
Led by an experienced team, the training is practical, inclusive, and tailored to the people you support. The session also provides space for discussion, advice, and shared learning around both everyday and more complex support needs.
