Conversation on Transport: Access to Health and Care Promoting Activities

This Spring, the Local Care Partnership Development Team is taking a new approach in place of the usual Learning Forum. The team is inviting partners to take part in a focused conversation on transport.
Transport has been identified as a key barrier – not only in accessing health appointments, but also in enabling participation in activities that support wellbeing and social connection. The issue varies across the city, and some partners have already developed local solutions.
The event aims to bring people together to share both challenges and ideas. Attendees are encouraged to:
- Book a ticket on Eventbrite in the usual way
- If you feel you have some things working regarding transport for the people you support and you would be willing to share this in a small group, please let them know
- Talk to your team ahead of the day so you can capture their views too
Although the format is different this time, the team recognises the value of stalls at previous forums. If there’s interest in having a marketplace element, attendees are encouraged to get in touch so this can be arranged.
