Understanding Factors Impacting Wellbeing in Asylum Seekers and Refugees

This training is for anyone working who would like to understand more about the wellbeing refugees and asylum seekers and specifically how to support them better.

Registration is essential as places are limited.

What you will learn:

  • To understand how to communicate about emotional and mental well-being
  • To understand how trauma symptoms may present in people
  • To learn techniques to work with traumatised people

Presented by Anthea Kilminster

Anthea a psychotherapist specialising in psychoanalytically informed relational-dynamic psychotherapy that takes account of culture and the impacts of trauma.

The training arranged for 28 April at our Manor House venue is for people working with refugees and asylum seekers in the Leeds area.
